An Interactive Comedy Pirate Show!

The Misadventures of Cap’n Arrr
"The Funniest Pirate to Never Sail the Seven Seas!"

For the 2008-09 festival seasons comedic performance artist, Won Israel has created a show that includes a pirate ship, a robotic talking parrot and the funniest pirate to never sail the seven seas. He calls it “The Misadventures of Cap'n Arrr!”

“The Misadventures of Cap'n Arrr!” is an interactive comedy performance that will have kids (and grown-ups) rolling on the floor! Cap'n Arrr's program is packed full of audience participation and includes basic instruction in walking like a pirate, talking like a pirate and laughing like a pirate too! Plus Cap’n Arrr’s call and response sing-a-longs are so catchy you’ll be singing long after his ship has sailed. At all most every show kids in the audience show up in pirate hats and costumes so Cap’n Arrr is known to pull a few ship mates up on to the stage to show off their pirate skills.

Like the Cap’n says, “If you wanna be a pirate say, Ay! Ay! Cap’n Arrr!

Yes boys and girls, Cap’n Arrr is a “Real (funny) Pirate".

Cap'n Arrr offers Roving and Staged Performances.

Won Israel's Comedy Floor Show

Over the past three decades, Won Israel's comedy routines have brought smiles, and tears of laughter, to audiences and cultures around the world.

Won warms up the audience with his "Finding the heartbeat" routine. This involves a child whose heartbeat is everywhere but in the correct place! Then continues audience participation games with "Giant" balloons & beach balls, which evolve into a spontaneous colorful, all-audience ball game. (Hold onto your hats!)

His "American Samurai" routine includes several volunteers from the audience. Each become students to the "Master" and are initiated into the sounds and postures of American Samurai 101. Won's original comedy style makes this an outrageous humor-filled routine.

Another favorite physical comedy routine that is laugh-out-loud funny is Won's “Motorcycle Daredevil". This bit is hilarious!

Professor HaHa wraps up the program by explaining and categorizing the many different "Types of Laughter". For example, the snake, pig, donkey, trumpet, Good Witch of the West, and many others. Won's stage show is a wonderful addition to any event and suitable for audiences of all ages.
